Season 2015/16 Aviva Premiership finalists Exeter Chiefs will be the visitors for the round eight clash, with the Falcons pulling out all the stops to attract 10,200 fans to their traditional mid November night time fixture.

Friday fixtures at Kingston Park have played host to some pulsating matches across the seasons, allowing fans to kick off their weekend in exciting fashion

With corporate hospitality areas already at near capacity, the game is enjoying pre sales at levels not seen for nearly a decade, as supporters respond to a strong start to the season, that see’s the Falcons sit sixth in the Aviva Premiership Rugby table.

And it is that early interest that has seen the club set their sights on being able to hang out the ‘sold out’ signs and improve on the current biggest crowd of Dean Richards tenure as director of rugby, over 9,000 against Saracens in December 2014.

Newcastle Rugby managing director Mick Hogan said: “With Exeter already catching the imagination of supporters by the pre sold ticket numbers we are currently seeing, we are throwing everything we can into it to fill the ground and make sure the team have an electric atmosphere to play in, against one of the top teams in the league.

“There will be a number of initiatives revealed in the coming days to encourage groups along to the game and we have already announced that we are making 500 tickets available to season ticket holders for just £5 each.”

“Friday nights at Kingston Park Stadium have always been big events and we are determined to welcome 10,200 people along to the Big Night Oot.”
