The lavish ceremony which recognises the very best in hospitality at both UK football and rugby stadia is now in its tenth year, with the Falcons nominated for the Conference, Event Sales & Marketing Award and the Matchday Hospitality Award.

Reading Football Club scooped last year’s Conference & Events Sales & Marketing Award, while Aston Villa Football Club were the recipients of the Matchday Hospitality Experience Award.

Newcastle’s nominations are testament to the club’s Conference and Banqueting department, who work tirelessly not only during matchday, but also when hosting events all year round.

Hazel McGlen, operations and client relationship manager at Patrick Parson Ltd, who regularly experiences corporate hospitality at the Falcons said: “We have attended matches at Kingston Park for many years.

“Table for four or table for ten, any size can be catered for and the hospitality and corporate team do all they can to ensure the day is good value and excellent entertainment.

“For those new to the game of rugby who are unsure of what to expect on the day, we can always guarantee that they will have enjoyed themselves in a relaxed, friendly venue with outstanding service.”

Conference and banqueting director Jane Shepstone said: “It’s brilliant news to find out that we’ve been nominated in not just one, but two categories in our first year of entry.

“It’s testament to all of the staff who work hard to ensure all our clients, on matchday and events have the best experience possible.”
