Falcons pair set for Junior World Championship

Davidson, the lock-forward who joins the Falcons from Glasgow Warriors, forms part of the Scotland Under-20s squad as they open their account against Australia with a 5.30pm kick-off at Sale Sharks’ AJ Bell Stadium.

Chick’s England Under-20s, who are in the same pool as the Scots, are in action later the same day when they tackle Italy at Manchester City Academy Stadium, kicking off at 7.45pm.

England’s game will be shown live on Sky Sports 1, Chick’s squad the second seeds for a tournament in which they have made the last three finals.

England were victors in 2013 and 2014, but were beaten by New Zealand in last season’s final in Italy.
