Falcons see two shortlisted for Citizen try of the week
Newcastle Falcons are proud to report that both Sinoti Sinoti and Chris Harris have been shortlisted for Premiership Rugby’s Citizen try of the week, making the Falcons the only team to have two tries included in this week’s list.
Sinoti is nominated for the Falcons’ first try of the game, which saw him run almost the full length of the pitch and get on the end of a Tom Catterick kick, which was then booted forward again, allowing the Samoan to dive over the line and ground the ball.
Meanwhile Harris was shortlisted for the first of his two tries which could have seen a fantastic team play come to naught when the final pass found the hands of Saracens’ Chris Ashton. A tackle from Harris allowed the Falcons to regain possession and the Premiership debutant to run the ball home.
