Falcons support grassroots clubs in Aviva Community Fund
A host of grassroots clubs from the North East and Cumbria are in the running for welcome funding boosts after making the earning listings as part of the Aviva Community Fund.
A nationwide initiative that lends a helping hand to grassroots sports clubs and community causes, the fund has reopened for a second year to offer funding of between £1,000 and £25,000.
The proud title sponsor of Aviva Premiership Rugby has introduced a ‘Sport in the Community’ category for this year, which means grassroots sports clubs across the UK can apply or reapply for funding in a sport-specific category this time around.
Blyth, Carlisle, Kendal, Novocastrians, Ryton, West End and Yarm are among the clubs from the North East and Cumbria aiming to get an array of projects and club development initiatives off the ground, should their applications be amongst those that earn the most votes from supporters and members of the public.
With fantastic support shown by these clubs of the Falcons, the North East’s Premiership Rugby club is asking its supporters to lend their backing to the project of their choosing and bring the funding into the region’s rugby community.
