Falcons team up with ISC as new official kit partner
Newcastle Falcons have announced that world-renowned rugby brand ISC will be the club’s new official exclusive kit partner for the next three seasons.
Already providing high-quality kit and training wear to rugby league stable-mates Newcastle Thunder, the partnership will see ISC supply the club’s playing kit and off-field leisure apparel at all levels as well as partnering the award-winning Falcons Community Foundation.
The first fruits of the new agreement will come in August with the arrival of a new home shirt which will remain true to the Falcons’ established colours, and which will be available in toddler sizes to allow the club’s mini fans to get in on the action.
Following in September will be a new away shirt which, for the first time since season 2011/2012, will offer Falcons supporters the chance to buy a cotton replica shirt.
As the season gathers pace in October, the start of Challenge Cup action will see the launch of the European shirt which will be worn in the games against Bordeaux, Enisei STM and Dragons. It will mark the club’s 140th year anniversary and be in colours and a style supporters will remember from yesteryear.
This new shirt range will sit alongside the club’s largest ever package of team wear, which will include polo shirts, t-shirts, hoodies, gilets and jackets.
ISC will also be partnering with the Falcons Community Foundation to supply its coaches and staff with training wear and develop links with grassroots clubs and schools.
Mick Hogan, managing director at Newcastle Falcons said: “We are delighted to be partnering with such an iconic and high-quality sports apparel brand. ISC are one of the biggest names in rugby and have a huge presence at all levels of the sport.
“They came through an extensive tender process and we were impressed with the quality of their product, the innovation within their kit and equipment and their plans to support rugby at all levels via our Community Foundation.
“ISC will also be assisting our merchandise team in offering a top-quality retail experience, be that within the club shop or via a revamped online shop.
“The new home shirt looks fantastic and we are looking forward to working with ISC at what is a really exciting time for the club and the wider sport in the region.”
Formed in 1991 in Rosebery, New South Wales, ISC has created a reputation over the last 25 years for the quality of its kit as it aims to enable the world to play at its best, with a proven track record having worked with some of the biggest entities in sport, including the ACT Brumbies, South Sydney Rabbitohs, Leeds Rhinos and Hull FC.
