The Falcons are pooled with Montpellier, Kobelco Steelers and Tsunami Pyrenees in the eight-team competition, with the other pool containing Super Rugby sides the Sharks and Bulls, plus Australian outfit Western Force and the Asia-Pacific Dragons.

Newcastle Falcons director of rugby Dean Richards said: “The Beachcomber World Club 10s is a great opportunity for us to spread the club’s name to a new part of the world.

“For those players lucky enough to go it will see them experiencing a stunning setting, and it will offer some of our squad members the chance for some valuable game time.”

The Beachcomber World Club 10s, which also caters for amateur and social teams in separate divisions, offers fans the chance to enjoy a rugby party in a stunning island paradise.
