Falcons trio in international action
Newcastle Falcons trio Vereniki Goneva, Nili Latu and Tane Takulua are again involved in international action this Saturday, as Fiji take on Samoa in the Pacific Nations Cup, while Tonga take on Georgia earlier in the day.
Gonevea scored a crucial try for the Fijians in the first match of the competition, as they overcame a persistent Tongan side and retains his place in a squad looking to take control at the top of the tournament table.
Latu and Takulua both made telling contributions during that game also, and start against the Georgians in a test between the sides ranked 12th and 13th in the world.
Both games take place at the ANZ stadium in Suva, Fiji, with Tonga v Georgia getting kicking off at 12:45 local time and Fiji v Samoa at 15:00.
