FALCONS TV: Acts of Kindness

Wednesday 23 January 2019 Written by: Adam

Ahead of Christmas 2018, Newcastle Falcons supporters once again demonstrated the camaraderie of the rugby family as the club asked for donations of food to support the Phoenix Detached Youth Project in North Tyneside.

Embracing the theme of Acts of Kindness, the Falcons family joined with Churchill Community College, Hedleys College, and Little Blossoms nursery in supporting people in crisis, by providing a wide range of items that the project was then able to distribute.

After collecting donations at the Heineken Champions Cup clash with Edinburgh, Sinoti Sinoti joined members of staff from the Falcons Community Foundation and representatives from the other groups in delivering the items to the Phoenix in Meadow Well.

As part of the club’s involvement, Falcons TV spoke to members of all those involved with this act of kindness and headed along to the parcel delivery.

Head over to our [**official YouTube channel**][1] to hear how the Falcons family helped during the festive season and a wider message of the importance of lending their valuable support.
