FALCONS TV: Eddie Jones on England in Newcastle
England head coach Eddie Jones has outlined his enthusiasm about coming to St James’ Park when his side meet Italy in the Quilter International on Friday September 6, 2019.
The Rugby World Cup warm-up game will be played at the home of Newcastle United just days before England fly out to Japan for the international showpiece, Jones travelling to Tyneside to make the announcement, during which he spoke to Falcons TV.

Speaking to the written media during the same session, Jones said: “Just looking on the walls of this room, there’s a photo of Sir Bobby Robson on there, which says it all.
“It’s a fantastic stadium, and to bring a World Cup warm-up test here to Newcastle is very exciting.
“It’s a fantastic ground in a great city, and particularly with the Falcons doing so well at the moment it’s going to be a great event. We’re very excited about it.”
