Falcons TV Speaks To Rehab Specialist
A number of injuries to the Falcons playing squad over recent weeks have given Toby Banfield little time to settle into the club gently.
The Rehabilitation Specialist arrived in the North East from Australia less than two months ago and has already spent time with some of the best known names of the Falcons playing roster.
Coming from Elite High Performance in his home city of Canberra, Banfield has a history of working with professional rugby players as well as professionals from a range of other sports and says he “jumped at the chance” to join the Falcons.
Speaking of the responsibilities of his new role, Banfield went on to discuss the work he has done so far with players such as Marcus Watson, Sinoti Sinoti, Tom Catterick and Gonzalo Tiesi before explaining the positive side of injury rehabilitation.
