Academy manager Mark Laycock said: “Our under-18s have played some fantastic rugby this season, not always getting the results that they were looking for in a very competitive league.

“But I’ve been really impressed with the progress they have made as a team, and also happy that the club have put it on as a double header. Hopefully some of the fans who are here for the first team game against Bath at 3pm will stay on and have a watch, and see some stars of the future.

“A couple of them have stepped up and played A-team rugby this season already, and it’s a really talented group. Lots of lads have held their hands up and the team are really excited about playing out there.”
