Falcons v Bristol live on Channel 5
The Kingston Park clash is a 2pm kick-off – Newcastle Falcons looking to avenge their New Year’s Day defeat against the league leaders.
Round 17 then sees a trip to Gloucester, with the Kingsholm encounter having been confirmed as a 3pm kick-off on Saturday April 24.
Newcastle Falcons’ executive director Mick Hogan said: “It’s fantastic news that for the first time we will be playing a Gallagher Premiership game live on free-to-air television, and that more of our supporters will be able to see us play.
“It’s great additional exposure for the league as well our commercial partners and sponsors, who have been tremendous in sticking by us during such a difficult period.
“As well as the outstanding coverage we consistently receive from BT Sport it’s a big opportunity for us to reach a new audience on Channel 5, and we’re looking forward to it.”
