Falcons youngsters shine for England U20s
Four Newcastle Falcons players starred in Saturday’s 44-5 victory over Oxford University at Iflley Road as the squad prepare for their 2024 U20 Six Nations Championship campaign.
Ben Douglas, Jacob Oliver, Ben Redshaw and Oliver Spencer all featured for Mark Mapletoft’s side, who ran in eight tries to secure victory.
Oliver, Redshaw and Spencer all crossed the whitewash for tries, and despite not crossing for a try of his own, Douglas was influential in several England scores.
