Fanzone Warm Up for Legends

Tuesday 29 September 2015 Written by: Adam

A host of Falcons and Southern Hemisphere Legends will take to the Community Rugby Pitch in the Newcastle Rugby World Cup Fanzone on Friday morning, for an open training session ahead of the showpiece game at Kingston Park later that evening.

Beginning at 11am, players including Anthony Elliott, Terry Fanolua, Cory Harris, Jamie Noon, Andre Snyman and Matt Burke will be part of the session at the Science Central venue.

With temporary seating in place around the pitch, fans are invited to come and watch the session and get into the spirit of the match, which is raising funds for the Falcons Community Foundation and Wooden Spoon Foundation.

Kicking off a huge week for the sport in the city, the Legends game will provide an entertaining evening as some of the clubs biggest names of yesteryear take to the pitch for one more match.

Tickets are still available for the full game, with prices starting from £10 for adults and £5 for under 16s.

For Falcons Season Ticket members, special ticket pricing remains in place until 5pm on Thursday.
