Food Options Refreshed For 2015/16
Catering units in both the West and South Stands have been revamped and will now offer a variety of food products including curries, nachos and traditional pasties. Meanwhile a new mobile van outside the concourse will offer fish and chips throughout this season as a complement to the popular hog roast van usually seen at the stadium.
New-look digital menus and refreshed presentation of the food options across all catering concessions will also allow fans an enhanced experience while purchasing their match day meals.
As with all of the Falcons offerings, food and drink prices are benchmarked against other sports venues across the region as well as every other Premiership Rugby ground throughout the country, with Kingston Park Stadium prices all coming out lower than average.
Speaking of the new offerings, Newcastle Falcons Conferencing and Events Director Jane Shepstone said: “We recognise that the quality of food and drink on offer, as well as speed of service in all areas of the ground are key components of our supporters’ match day experience.
“The new products we have on offer were well received at both the Leicester Kings of the North match and the Falcons Legends game and we hope that they will continue to draw a positive response throughout the season.
“Having run the busiest of the Rugby World Cup’s Fanzones in conjunction with Ramside events we’re bringing forward a number of new learnings which we are confident will help us deliver a better service to fans at Kingston Park Stadium going forward.
“Following the refurbishment of the Tap & Tackle earlier this year the refresh of our concourse catering outlets demonstrates our continued investment to improving stadium facilities for our supporters.”
The new catering options will be available to all Falcons Supporters at this evening’s Aviva Premiership Season Opener against Gloucester and throughout the remainder of the 2015/16 term season.
