Foundation college programme gearing up for 18/19
The Falcons Community Foundation and TyneMet College’s rugby union programme is welcoming new applicants for the 2018/19 school year, following a successful first year since launching last autumn.
Based at Kingston Park Stadium and for students aged 16+, the programme combines practical rugby sessions and fixtures against other North East Colleges with a BTEC Level 3 qualification in Sport Studies, it is a great opportunity for club players to further their development.
Students will also have the opportunity to achieve coaching and refereeing qualifications alongside volunteering with the Falcons Community Foundation amongst other fantastic benefits!
The programme aims to give students a route into University or apprenticeships whilst also focusing on player and club development for the North East and Cumbria.
