Friday’s off-field entertainment

Friday 15 April 2022 Written by: Adam

Supporters can enjoy a pre-match Q&A with a Falcons player from 7.30pm in the West Stand concourse bar, ahead of the 8pm kick-off in the EPCR Challenge Cup round-of-16 game.

A selection of non-playing Falcons players will be serving behind the West concourse bar and chatting to supporters from 6.45pm until 7.15pm.

That same window will see one of rugby’s great traditions being upheld, with a 7pm boat race.

A team of Newcastle Falcons players led by Gary Graham will be participating in the relay, with supporters invited to submit their teams and join in the fun.

Teams of five will race against the opposition to drink their pints as fast as they can, with each team member drinking in turn. The first team to finish and all sit down on the floor will be rewarded with a round of pints of their choice. Pints for the race will be provided free of charge. All entrants must be over 18, with ID required. Please drink responsibly. The first five teams will be contacted to take part in the boat race.

At half-time in the Falcons v Glasgow match supporters are invited to see if they can out-run a randomly-selected Falcons player, in our ‘Falcons Flyer’ virtual race. Falcons opponents will include Robbie Smith, Phil Brantingham, Zach Kerr, Ollie Lindsay-Hague and Nathan Earle.
