Here’s everything you need to know about getting to Kingston Park for our Good Friday clash with Northampton Saints this Friday April 18 (7.45pm KO).

DRIVING
Directions from the A1:
- Take the Airport exit.
- At the roundabout take the exit signposted for Kingston Park.
- Go straight over two roundabouts, under the Metro bridge and take the first right onto Brunton Road.
- After 400 metres the stadium is on your left.
PARKING
Stadium car parking for our fixture with the Saints is SOLD OUT.
Local parking restrictions are in place on the surrounding streets, meaning that anyone parking on the main road or in the housing estates near to Kingston Park Stadium will receive a ticket.
To avoid this, there are several park and ride facilities available at local Metro stations, offering all-day parking.
Stations offering park and ride include:
- Bank Foot (within walking distance of the ground)
- Kingston Park (within walking distance of the ground)
- Callerton Parkway
- Heworth
- Northumberland Park
BLUELINE TAXIS

TYNE & WEAR METRO
The stadium is served by Kingston Park and Bank Foot Metro stations, both of which are just a five-minute walk away.
Both stations are located on the Airport branch of the Tyne and Wear Metro, with trains running every 15 minutes. Newcastle city centre is approximately 20 minutes away by Metro, which also serves Sunderland, South Tyneside, Gateshead, North Tyneside, and the coast.
Metro services will operate to their normal weekday timetable this Good Friday, making it easy for supporters to travel to and from the stadium using public transport.
Supporters can also take advantage of cost-saving travel options through the Tyne and Wear Metro’s ‘Save As You Go with Pay As You Go’ campaign. By purchasing a Pop Pay As You Go Card, you can save £1 on single tickets and £1.50 on day tickets compared to paper ticket prices.
Simply top up your Pop PAYG card online or at any ticket machine, and then touch in and out at Metro stations to pay for your journey. The system automatically calculates the cheapest fare for your travel, making it a convenient and budget-friendly way to get to match days.

TRAIN
For those travelling via the national train network and arriving at Newcastle Central Station, the Tyne and Wear Metro is the easiest way in which to get to the stadium. Central Station has its own Metro station.
BUS
From Eldon Square bus station in Newcastle city centre, Stagecoach operate the X47 and X78 routes, both of which serve stops within walking distance of Kingston Park Stadium.
The X47 service runs every 20 minutes, with a stop on Windsor Way just a two-minute walk from the stadium. The X47 will operate to its usual bank holiday timetable on Good Friday.
The X78 service runs once every hour, also stopping at Windsor Way, making it a convenient option for those travelling from the city centre or surrounding areas.
Both services provide a reliable route to the stadium for match-day travel, with Windsor Way being ideally situated for quick and easy access to Kingston Park.
Single tickets are just £2.50 for adults and 60p for under-16s.
You can also grab yourself a day pass for only £5.20 for adults and £1.10 for under-16s, giving you unlimited travel on match-day.
