As part of Newcastle Falcons’ ongoing drive to increase participation in rugby, the Falcons Community Foundation last week hosted their biggest girls’ rugby camp to date.

Part of the Premiership Rugby’s Rugby 4 All programme, which aims to increase participation in rugby amongst a number of groups, including women and girls, the Foundation’s girls camp saw a fantastic turn out at Kingston Park Stadium.

Over 70 participants attended for each day of the event, including both existing members of the North East rugby community and those who were completely new to the game, providing a very enthusiastic response to the opportunity to get involved with rugby union.

The free of charge coaching event also included a free ticket to group C of the 2015 Singha Premiership Rugby 7s at Kingston Park Stadium on 22nd August.
