GREEN – Fans Can Lift Team On Sunday

The former Leeds Carnegie man has started in the number four shirt in all four of the Falcons matches this season in a pack that has seen consistency in collection and has impressed with his ability and application.

“I would say though that we are not that far away from being where we want to be. Our attacking play has been pretty good, Dave [Walder] is a real good coach who we have all been working hard with but its little things that are stopping us form putting in the complete performance and winning the games.”

“When we get all the little details right, we and the fans should be enjoying a much better run very soon.”

With healthy crowds in attendance at both the London Irish and Northampton Saints fixtures, Green is keen to acknowledge the role played by the fans in the Kingston Park match day experience.

“The boys appreciate all the support, it is passionate and as professional sportsmen, we want to play in front of as many people as possible. The more people we get in the better it is for us.”

“They have been in good voice at the last two games and have given the team a lift. We’ll need them to do that again on Sunday and I hope they will be out in force.
