Greggs Tackling Health

Delivered nationally by Premiership Rugby clubs across England, and in partnership with the Greggs Foundation, the key aims of the project are to improve young people’s understanding of what constitutes a healthy diet, and to increase levels of physical activity.

Since January Newcastle Falcons’ community team have been delivering the Greggs tackling Health programme to key-worker children within schools, adapting the classroom session so it could also be delivered through online learning.

Delivered to more than 600 children during this period, the scheme is now back in full flow with the team out and about in schools in the North East and Cumbria.
