Haydon-Wood shortlisted for RPA award
The RPA have launched the initiative to highlight the young members who stand out each month during the 2021/22 Gallagher Premiership season.
The RPA will nominate six players aged 23 and under who have shone for their side in all competitions, and will culminate in creating the ultimate Under-23 XV of the Season.
Fans will then get the chance to vote for their most valuable player (MVP) of the Month in a vote via the RPA’s official website.
The winners and all nominees will be put on the RPA long list for the final “15 Under 23” which will be selected by the RPA’s Players Board 2021/22 next May.
The following players have been nominated for October:
Josh Hodge – Exeter Chiefs
Gabriel Oghre – Wasps
Tom Pearson – London Irish
Will Haydon-Wood – Newcastle Falcons
Jacob Morris – Gloucester
Fitz Harding – Bristol Bears
