How to coach disabled people in sport

This Monday Newcastle Falcons will be running a course on the subject of coaching disabled people in sport.

The course is a minimum standard for active coaches for Premiership Rugby and is designed to help coaches make sport more accessible as well as to aid coaches’ continuous professional development.

Suitable for all coaches, the workshop aims to answer commonly asked questions about disabled sports participants and show participants how, with a few minor adjustments to the way they work, coaching can be made more inclusive and effective.

The course is being run at Kingston Park on Monday 10th November from 6pm-8pm and will cost £30. This can be paid by card payment or BACS.

There are still a small number of places available. For more information please contact Emily O’Connor on emily.oconnor@newcastle-falcons.co.uk.
