IMPORTANT TRAFFIC UPDATE FOR SUNDAY

Friday 19 October 2018 Written by: Adam

Supporters driving to Kingston Park Stadium for Sunday’s Heineken Champions Cup clash against Montpellier (KO 1pm) are advised that road-works are in place on Brunton Road outside of the ground and are expected to affect the time taken to access the stadium.

Three-way traffic lights are in place at the junction with Windsor Way opposite the stadium’s East entrance and will remain in situ on Sunday and though they will be manually controlled, supporters driving to the game are urged to allow extra time for their journeys and to arrive early.

In order to minimise the impact on supporters attending Sunday’s game, those who have yet to make their travel arrangements are urged to consider using the Tyne & Wear Metro to get to the ground.

Kingston Park Stadium is served by two stations, Kingston Park and Bank Foot with both approximately seven minutes walk away.

For supporters who need to drive to the match, the club strongly advises that they approach the stadium from the western end of Brunton Road, via the junction with Ponteland Road.
