We are Newcastle Falcons one of the Premiership rugby teams. We are setting our sights on a new, exciting future and are looking for a versatile, well organised, and motivated individual to join our team.

**Our vision** is to develop young players who are technically, tactically, and mentally capable of playing for our 1st team or England having a career in the professional game. We therefore are now looking for an ambitious and motivated academy analyst to join our analysis team at Kingston Park Stadium.

As academy analyst you will work as part of a team and support the academy coaches and players in line with the club’s vision. The primary focus of the role is to provide video and statistical feedback and present quality information for the coaches and players to use.

This also forms part of the EAPs added support.
– Provide performance analysis support to the ACE scheme at Gosforth Academy, including recording and analysing all their fixtures in line with academy directives (organisation of an intern under your mentorship is a good aid for this part of your role).
– Manage and update the academy Google Drive in line with the information produced above.
– Manage and update an online sharing space for coach education purposes, including filming and uploading video footage from around the world to share good practice, promote the academy and to educate the wider rugby community.
– Liaise with academy strength and conditioning coach and physiotherapist to monitor player game time as well as assist in any research projects, injury surveillance or player movement analysis.
– Ensure that all feedback is visually engaging and appropriately staged for each level of the pathway, keeping in mind current trends in learning behaviours within young adults.
– Other ad-hoc tasks as required by analyst and coaching staff.

**Key performance indicators:**

– Development of sustainable practices across the academy.
– Adherence to all RFU/PRL regulations to maintain the academy licence.
