Join ‘The Cast’ volunteer group for the European finals
We would like to thank every single Cast member for making The Big One such a memorable occasion, and to give the opportunity for additional people to join them as the eyes of European rugby focus on Tyneside.
The Cast will be based in various positions across the city both before and during the finals weekend, which is being held on May 10/11.
Volunteers will play a key role in this festival of rugby. We have a variety of roles available throughout the city, and the knowledge and skills of the volunteers will enhance the experience of visitors to Newcastle.
During finals weekend The Cast will be based in various positions across the city from the Rugby Champions Village on the Quayside, including the Baltic Square Family Zone. They will also be positioned on the walking routes through the city up to St James’ Park and the fan activation area around Strawberry Place. They will help visitors with wayfinding, details of events and activities and all other information a visitor may need.
Cast members receive great training to equip them for their role, a fabulous uniform so they stand out and the opportunity to be part of the greatest weekend in rugby.
Volunteers will be required on a range of shifts over the weekend of May 9-11.
