JONAH LOMU HEADS TO KINGSTON PARK

All-time top Rugby World Cup try scorer and All Blacks legend Jonah Lomu recently confirmed that he will be joining the Falcons as our guest of honour at the club’s 2013 Sportsman’s Dinner.

The IRB Hall of Fame member, who earned 63 caps for his country, will host this exclusive event.

Lomu will share stories from his days as a player and give some insight into what has been a fascinating life story so far both on and off the pitch.

Falcons Commercial Director Duncan Edward said: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome someone of Jonah’s calibre to Kingston Park for this event.

“Earlier this year we made a promise to our fans and corporate partners to bring high profile events to Kingston Park; on the pitch we’ve already played host to the Tongan national side and to England Saxons vs Scotland A, and securing Jonah’s attendance at our Sportsman’s Dinner is another example of the standard of events we are looking to attract off the pitch too.”

The Falcons’ inaugural Sportsman’s Dinner will take place on Thursday 21 November and will include a three course meal and opportunity to interact with Falcons players and coaches as well as with Lomu himself.

Tickets for the dinner are priced at only £75 plus VAT per person, with tables of ten available for only £650 (plus VAT). We have already seen a lot of interest in this event but still have a number of tables available.
