KP to get Magic Weekend underway this Friday
The 8pm kick-off is set to bring Thunder’s biggest home crowd of the season as the North East becomes the centre of the sport’s focus for the weekend – the Kingstone Press League 1 game providing the starter before two full days of Super League action at St James’ Park.
Newcastle Thunder are the North East’s only professional rugby league team, a packed week for the club seeing them hosting a touch rugby evening at St St James’ Park on Monday before Thursday’s sportsman’s dinner with Leeds Rhinos and England legend Jamie Peacock.
