Last early bird call for dual code fans

Dual-code fans in the Falcons Family have one week left to book their place for Newcastle Thunder’s 2017 season at early bird prices, with the East Stand at Kingston Park already two-thirds full for the new rugby league season.

Fans have been backing the Falcons’ rugby league stable-mates in ever growing numbers and, with the promise of a full refund should the club fail to make the end of season promotion play-offs, can look forward to a season of success or free League 1 rugby.

Priced at £110 for adult seats and £100 for adult standing, Thunder season tickets cover all home fixtures in the first and second phases of the Kingstone Press League 1 season, as well as a pre-season friendly against Whitehaven on January 28th.

For supporters wanting to enjoy the ultimate match-day, Premier season tickets, which include exclusive match-day access to the 1877 Bar, a sumptuous two-course lunch and unrivaled access to Thunder’s players and coaches, are available priced at £300 for adults and £150 for under-16s.

These enhanced season tickets cover all rugby league action at Kingston Park Stadium, including any home draws in the iPro Sport League 1 Cup and Ladbrokes Challenge Cup, and can be booked using a monthly payment programme to take the cost to £50 a month.

Having retained much of the squad which lifted the Kingstone Press League 1 Shield in 2016 and added further quality signings from the UK and the Southern Hemisphere, confidence is high within a squad which boasts no fewer than 10 local lads in its ranks.

Head coach Mick Mantelli said: “I’m pretty happy with the squad for next year. We’ve retained a lot of our quality players from last year and we’re talking with a few more as well as bringing in some good new faces.

“Competition is going to be good for spots. We’re setting a goal of top four and we will be very disappointed if we are not there. The boys got a good taste for winning last season and of what we are expecting, so there’s no reason why we can’t expect to be in those play-off spots. “
