Legends shirts unveiled

The build up to Friday’s Falcons Legends v Southern Hemisphere extravaganza continues with the unveiling to the kits for the two teams.

Designed by Newcastle Falcons official kit supplier Gilbert, the shirts echo the designs of clubs current home and away strips.

The Falcons Legends, who will include Peter Walton, Jason Oaks and Jamie Noon in their squad, will sport a shirt of Black and White hoops, drawing inspiration from the home kit from the early days of the Falcons.

The Southern Hemisphere Legends meanwhile, who include Stefan Terblanche, Henry Paul and Terry Fanolua, will take to the field in blue and white design complimented by hexagonal detailing across the shoulders and chest.

Replicas of both shirts, priced at £50 will be available to purchase from the Kingston Park club shop and [online][1], from 10:00 on Friday October 2nd in limited numbers.

These, along with the Newcastle Falcons 2015/16 Home and Away replica and authentic shirts form part of the clubs #GetShirty promotion, which is giving fans the chance to win tickets to the New Zealamd v Tonga RWC game at St James’ Park.

To be in with a chance of winning this sought after tickets, simply take a photo of yourself in the new Falcons home, away or Legends replica kit and upload to Facebook or Twitter, tagging in theNewcastle Falcons Facebook page or @FalconsRugby Twitter feed using the hashtag #GetShirty.

Make sure your photo reaches the Falcons by 5pm on Monday 5th October to be in with a chance of winning.

The competition will be drawn and the winner notified the following day, Tuesday 6th October, giving our lucky winners ample opportunity to get to the game.

Please note that this prize is non-exchangeable with no cash alternative. Tickets must be collected from Kingston Park Stadium in time to attend the World Cup match on Friday 9th October.
