For Newcastle new boys Vereniki Goneva and Opeti Fonua that means facing their former club, while Falcons old boy George McGuigan could be in line for a quickfire return to Kingston Park Stadium.

The Tigers enjoyed a thrilling last-minute victory over Gloucester in week one despite being 31-7 down at one stage, the same night Newcastle defated Sale Sharks 19-17.

There was certainly no shortage of drama for the 5,523 supporters in attendance as the Sale match went down to the very last kick, with tickets already available for the Tigers showdown.

Standing tickets start from £15 adults, £12 concessions and £5 for under-16s, with seats from £25 adults, £20 concessions and £10 under-16s.

As well as Aviva Premiership action, those buying tickets for Newcastle v Leicester can also stay on free of charge for Newcastle Thunder’s final game of the rugby league season, when they host North Wales Crusaders at 5:15pm in the Kingstone Press League 1 Shield final.
