Louie Johnson on the bench for England Under-20s

The 7.15pm kick-off is being played at Colwyn Bay’s Stadiwm CSM and is live on the BBC iPlayer.

Johnson has come on from the bench in England’s previous two games in the competition – a 41-36 home win over Scotland at the Twickenham Stoop and a 32-25 victory over Italy in Gloucester.

England Under-20s head coach Alan Dickens said: “I’m very proud of the players for the way they built on their win over Scotland, when it was evident in patches how we want to play the game, and then turned in a more complete performance against Italy.

“We’re building each week and Wales will present a new challenge. We’ve seen them compete hard for long periods of play against Ireland and Scotland in two close matches, so we know we’ll have to put in an 80-minute performance on Friday in Colwyn Bay.”
