Johnson, who plays fly-half and full-back, is included in England’s 29-man group for the trip which sees games against Georgia on Saturday May 27 and Thursday June 1.

The 19-year-old Penrith native has already been capped by England at Under-20s level, and will be pushing for a place in their World Cup squad.

That tournament runs from June 24 until July 14 in South Africa, with England’s group seeing games against Ireland, Australia and Fiji.

England Under-20s head coach Mark Mapletoft said: “Congratulations to all players selected for the tour of Georgia.

“These two matches will allow us to test ourselves on the road against a physical outfit with a tight turnaround, just like we’ll face at the World Rugby U20 Championship in South Africa.”
