MacLeod hails Weir ahead of Dec 28 fundraiser
The 3pm kick-off pits a Newcastle Falcons XV against Southern Knights, with MacLeod recalling the on and off-field help which Weir gave to him when he was a promising rugby prospect.

Proceeds from the game will go towards My Name’5 Doddie, the foundation which is raising funds and awareness for Motor Neurone disease, the currently-incurable condition with which Weir has been diagnosed.
