For the second game running the Kingston Park Stadium hospitality areas are entirely sold out, with more than 900 guests set to enjoy the award-winning experience during Friday night’s Aviva Premiership visit of Worcester Warriors.

That will be the biggest hospitality attendance since the visit of Leicester Tigers in May 2008, the Falcons having this week been nominated for two prestigious national awards.

Newcastle are shortlisted for the top prize of Overall Matchday Hospitality and additionally the Matchday Hospitality Award (Small Stadium) at the Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards, which will be held at Liverpool FC’s Anfield stadium on June 1 and includes all UK rugby and football clubs.

Newcastle Falcons managing director Mick Hogan said: “We would like to thank all of our corporate hospitality guests for their support during the 2016-17 season.

“We are already excited for next season with the further improvements we are making, and the new range of themes and packages we have put together.

“Interest for next season is already higher than we have seen it in recent years, and our recent national award nominations are tremendous recognition for the hard work of our fantastic staff.”
