Match Day Information For Saturday’s Sevens
As the Falcons approach their first live rugby event after the summer game, the club would like to share the following information to allow you to enjoy your match day experience fully.
**Kick Off Time** – Today’s events will kick off at 4pm.
**Opening Times** – Stadium bars and turnstiles will open at 2.30pm with the East Stand Tap & Tackle open to all guests rom 12. Doors for guests attending as part of Kingston Park Stadium’s award winning match day hospitality packages will be open from 2pm with food served from 2.30.
**North Stand** – Please note that the North Stand Terrace will be closed for today’s event. If you are a North Stand ticketholder you will be accommodated in either the South or East Stand Terraces. You do not need to claim a new ticket but please enter via the South Stand.
**Stadium Access** – Supporters must enter the stand for which they hold tickets to gain entry into the ground. Kingston Park’s ticket scanners will have restrictions in place that will only allow tickets for that stand to be scanned. The exception to this is North Stand ticket holders who, for this event should enter via the South Stand.
**Season Ticket Members** – Please note that all Season Ticket Members wishing to attend the Singha Premiership Rugby Sevens must have a paper ticket for the event. If you do not yet have your free ticket for Saturday’s event please contact our Ticket Office on 0871 226 6060 or visit the Kingston Park Stadium Box Office before 5pm on Friday, 21st August.
Please note that due to a private function the East Stand Season Ticket Members’ bar will not be open for Saturday’s event.
**Ticket Sales** – Tickets for the event continue to sell well so while it is anticipated that while tickets will be available up until kick off, this cannot be guaranteed, neither can the availability of seated tickets.
Supporters are strongly recommended to buy tickets for this match in advance by clicking [here][1] and opting to print at home or by visiting the Kingston Park Box Office.
**Parking** – Please note that all on-site car parking is now fully booked, meaning that there will be no pay on the door parking available at Kingston Park Stadium. Fans are encouraged to use public transport to get to the game, with park and ride facilities available at Kingston Park, Callerton Parkway, Northumberland Park, Bank Foot and Heworth.
**Bars** – Supporters bar facilities are available in the East, South and West stands, with additional mobile bars available to supporters within the stadium perimeter. For those wishing to enjoy a full day at the rugby, the stadium concourse bars will be running happy hour drinks promotions from 3-4pm and from 7-8pm.
The West Stand Bar and Tap & Tackle will both be open after the game to screen England’s game against France, which kicks off at 8pm.
**Programmes** – Event programmes will be available from sellers positioned around the ground, priced at £2.50. Please note that programmes are not included in the price of car parking passes this season and will need to be purchased separately.
**Club Shop** – The Falcons Club Shop will be open from 9am this morning until kick off, then again for forty minutes after the end of the event, with a retail concession also available in the West Stand of the ground.
Today sees the debut of the Falcons’ away strips for 2015/16, with replicas available to buy now from the Club Shop. 2015/16 Season Ticket Members can enjoy a 10% discount on any replica shirts purchased by giving their name and address in the East Stand Club Shop.
The shop still has a number of items available as part of its 2014/15 end of season sale, as well as a selection of new season items available to buy and pre-order now.
**Format of the day** – After kicking off at 4pm today’s event will include six games of sevens rugby, with a break between each match. The final game of the day is scheduled to kick off at 6.15pm, with each game lasting 14 minutes plus a short half time break.
Newcastle Falcons are up first playing against Leicester Tigers, and will also end the day with their game against Worcester Warriors. A full programme of events can be found in today’s match day programme.
**Pitch Access** – Supporters will be able to take to the Kingston Park Stadium pitch for an hour after the end of the final Singha Premiership Rugby Sevens game. Please be aware that stadium regulations apply to anyone entering the pitch area and that stewards will enforce this regulations for safety reasons.
