Newcastle Falcons’ head coach Alex Codling shared his thoughts with TNT Sports following the club’s home defeat to Exeter Chiefs.

The Falcons came narrowly close to securing their first win of the season, but visitors Exeter Chiefs took home the four points in a 20-14 victory at Kingston Park.

Jamie Blamire and Matias Moroni both crossed for tries for the Falcons with Louie Johnson converting both.
