McCallum, Blamire and Connon lead the way in 2024/25 season stats
As the curtain falls on the 2024/25 campaign, Newcastle Falcons can look back on a season that saw several standout individual performances across the board.
MCCALLUM EVER-PRESENT IN TIRELESS CAMAPAIGN
Utility prop Murray McCallum topped the appearances chart, featuring in all 30 of Newcastle’s competitive fixtures this season. A model of consistency and durability, McCallum was ever-present in league and cup competitions alike.
Just behind him was back-row Freddie Lockwood, who played 29 times and once again proved himself as one of the club’s most reliable and hard-working performers.
Departing club captain Callum Chick bowed out in typically committed fashion with 25 appearances in his final season in Falcons colours with fly-half Brett Connon and scrum-half Sam Stuart also clocking up 25 appearances each, continuing to be key figures in the squad set-up.
