Meet the challenge of the Great North Run
Runners who missed out on places in the 2017 Simplyhealth Great North Run are being given the opportunity to test themselves on the legendary half management by supporting the Newcastle Rugby Foundation.
The registered charity has been awarded five places for fundraisers running in support of its efforts to motivate, educate and inspire using the power of sport, with the Foundation now welcoming applicants to fill these spots.
Available at a charge of £50, those running in as one of the Foundation’s five fundraisers are also provided with a fundraising target of £200, with all monies going directly to the Newcastle Rugby Foundation, funding continued work in communities throughout the North East and Cumbria using the power of rugby union and rugby league.
Runners interested in filling one of the five places should email katy.mcgurk@newcasle-falcons.co.uk detailing why they want to run in support of the Newcastle Rugby Foundation.
Applications close on Friday 10th March at 5 pm, with the successfully chosen runners notified the following week.
