Murray McCallum on bench for Barbarian FC
Incoming Newcastle Falcons prop Murray McCallum has been named on the bench for the Barbarians when they take on Swansea RFC this evening.
Celebrating its 150th year, Swansea RFC will host the Barbarians at St Helen’s rugby and cricket ground on Wednesday May 31 in a 6:30pm kick-off.
Murray McCallum who signed for the Falcons from Edinburgh Rugby ahead of the 2023-24 season, will feature from the bench in a star-studded Barbarians side that also includes British & Irish Lions Alun Wyn Jones, Dan Lydiate and Billy Twelvetrees.
McCallum featured twice for Edinburgh in his second spell at the club during the 2022-23 season and scored one try.
The prop-forward has also been capped three times by Scotland and has previously featured for the Barbarians on a number of occasions.
