NEW APPOINTMENT AT NEWCASTLE FALCONS
Mike, currently the commercial director of Durham County Cricket Club will join the Falcons across the next few weeks to drive the Falcons interactions with the business community across the region and beyond.
Mike will work alongside Duncan Edward who will take on the role of sales and marketing director with a focus on driving interaction with the fans and Melanie Magee as director of the Falcons Community Foundation driving the club’s interaction with schools and mini rugby clubs.
Chief executive Paul Varley said: “Mike has a strong track record of delivering success with the business community from his time at Durham County Cricket Club and previous to that at Newcastle Racecourse, and we are delighted that he is joining the Falcons.
This is a further step in securing the right team to deliver on our vision for the future and we are looking forward to Mike joining the team.”
