New away shirts set for Singha 7s debut
Newcastle Falcons fans will get their first glimpse of 2017/18 ISC playing shirts on Friday evening, as the club’s 7s squad compete in the Singha Premiership Rugby 7s wearing the all new away kit.
The first of the new shirts to come from the Falcons new partnership with the renowned supplier, the away kit will see first light at 6pm as the team, led by captain and former England 7s international Cameron Cowell face defending champions Wasps.
A traditional design in modern, vibrant colours, the shirt will sport the branding of returning partners WardHadaway and Bidfood, while negotiations continue with a new principle partner.
In a move to satisfy supporter demand for a cotton replica shirt, the 2017/18 away shirt will be available exclusively in the traditional fabric, with pre orders set to opening soon ahead of a September launch.
The Singha Premiership Rugby 7s series takes place at Northampton Saints’ Franklins’ Gardens on Friday and Saturday, with all games from the tournament broadcast live via BT Sport.
