Newcastle Falcons fans got their first look at the club’s 2018/19 home strip last weekend, as the team take took to the field in the 2018 Premiership Rugby 7’s sporting the new look shirt.

Playing in the new home strip during their pool game against Leicester Tigers on Friday night, before donning the new design for both their quarter and semi-final appearances on Saturday, the design has received positive feedback across the club’s social media channels.

In addition to the brand new design, the 7s also provided the first look at how the club’s new family of partners look on the shirts of the team, with new principal partner Stelrad Group and new official partner Hitachi Construction Machinery (UK) joining existing partners WardHadaway, and Bidfood on the latest ISC kit.

Specially produced in the UK in order to be played in during the Premiership Rugby 7s and to give that first glimpse to supporters, all of the match shirts will then be auctioned via the club’s eBay site during August.

The final specification shirts will be seen at Kingston Park on Friday, August 24th when the Falcons face Edinburgh in their final pre-season fixture at home (KO 7:45pm).

Pre-orders for replica shirts will open mid-August and following feedback from supporters the new home shirts will be available not only in the usual tech fabric, but also in traditional cotton versions for men’s, ladies, and juniors.

The new look away strips will be in tech fabric and both kits will feature toddler shirts that come with matching shorts adding extra value.

For the 10th season running, prices for shirts will remain at £49.99 for adults and £39.99 for kids sizes with free UK postage on orders over £50.

Tech fabric kits are due to be in-store for the first Gallagher Premiership home fixture against Saracens on 2nd September, with cottons to follow later in the month.

Brand new ISC Teamwear will start arriving in-store from early August.
