NEWCASTLE FALCONS ‘A’ V LEICESTER TIGERS ‘A’ TEAM NEWS
Newcastle Falcons have made eight changes for tonight’s Aviva A League clash with Leicester Tigers at Kingston Park (kick-off 6pm).
Chris Harris and Alex Crockett come in to the centres, while there are starts for fly-half Craig Willis and winger Tahir El Mahdi, who faces his former employers.
Meanwhile there is a new-look back-row with Ollie Hodgson, Andy Saull and Harrison Collins all getting the nod.
The Falcons will be keen to build on last week’s 26-18 opening day victory over Sale Jets as they look to cement their position at the top of the table.
Academy manager Mark Laycock said: “It was a great performance from the boys last week, and we thoroughly deserved the win.
“It’s now a clean slate for the lads, and with a number of players coming into the side it’s a chance for them to show what they can do.
“We are playing some good rugby at the moment and I would encourage fans to come down and support the team.”
Entry for tonight’s game is free.
