Newcastle Falcons have announced that the vast majority of prices for tickets, food and drink will be held and in some cases reduced for the forthcoming season as the club strives to offer even better value for money to its supporters.

As with season tickets all pre-booked match ticket prices, with the exception of West Stand Category A, have been held at last year’s levels, while South Stand tickets have been reduced from £25 to £20. Pre-booked ticket prices below are available up to 3 hours prior to kick-off with a £2 booking fee applying thereafter. Confirmed ticket prices for all games are listed at the end of this article

Speaking about the 2014-15 ticket prices marketing director Keith Christie commented: “We always strive to offer value for money to all fans and we think we offer this with the reduction in ticket prices for the south stand and the freezing of all other prices for match and season tickets. Between this pricing and an improved match-day experience we hope to see lots more supporters at Kingston Park this forthcoming season.”

It’s not only tickets that have been frozen or reduced on price as a wide selection of the food and drink offering is also being sold at the same or reduced price levels this season. Deluxe burgers, cheese burgers, hot dogs and chips have all been reduced in price between 50 – 80 pence each. Pizza, pasta, curry, hog roast and all hot drinks are the same price as last season. Pies will be 40% larger this year (350g vs 250g) but at no extra cost.

With regards to beer prices all draught lager, bitter and cider will be £3.80 a pint. In happy hours (of which there are two on Sunday) those prices drop 50p. These pint prices compare very favourably against the national average. In a survey of professional sports grounds via Stadium Experience average draught pint prices were £3.98 for lager, £3.89 for bitter and £4.04 for cider. Prices at both St James Park (Newcastle United) and Newcastle Racecourse were both £4.00 per pint.

The Falcons’ famous Two Pint drinks have also been reduced this year to £7.20 each. There will be further 4 pint deals available.

Conference & Events Director Jane Shepstone said “We are working really hard with our various suppliers to not only maintain and reduce prices but also improve the quality of everything we serve at Kingston Park. We want fans to get here earlier and stay a bit longer after games and understand that we need to give a first class offering if we’re going to achieve this.”

Tickets are available for this Sunday’s game between Newcastle Falcons vs London Irish by ringing 0871 226 6060. Supporters can then stay on for free to watch Gateshead Thunder vs Hemel Stags in the Championship One Play-off game at 6.00pm.
