The No 8 (pictured) signed from Yorkshire Carnegie over the summer, and skippers a side which sees Fijian international lock Tevita Cavubati making his club debut.

Frenchman Sami Mavinga starts at loose-head prop after scoring on his debut against Nottingham a fortnight ago, Simon Uzokwe included on the open-side flank having dotted down in his last outing against Rotherham.

Ruaridh Dawson and Craig Willis form a youthful half-back partnership, with Adam Radwan out to continue his free-scoring pre-season form from full-back.

Saturday’s game at Castle Park is a 2.30pm kick-off, with tickets available at the ground.
