Newcastle Rugby Foundation join forces with Sky High Sports
A new partnership between Sky High Sports and Newcastle Rugby Foundation is set to help change lives across the North East, as part of the rugby tour operator’s commitment to give back to the communities they work in.
Through the collaboration, Sky High Sports will donate a portion of every tour booking to Newcastle Rugby Foundation, supporting the charity’s mission to improve lives across the region through the power of rugby. The Foundation delivers a wide range of programmes designed to inspire, educate, and empower people of all ages, helping them build brighter futures and stronger communities.
Richie Gledson, Managing Director of Sky High Sports, said:
Our work takes us to destinations with rugby teams all over the world, but our roots remain firmly in the North-East. Rugby connects people everywhere, but it matters to us that we support a charity creating such a positive impact right here. By working with an outstanding organisation like the Newcastle Rugby Foundation, we can ensure our growth and success also helps strengthen the community we call home.
Charlie Roberts, Income Generation Manager at Newcastle Rugby Foundation, added:
“Partnerships like this are invaluable to the work we do. The support from Sky High Sports will help us to continue delivering projects that improve lives, whether that’s giving young people new opportunities, supporting adults to improve their wellbeing, or building stronger, healthier communities across our region. It’s a fantastic example of how businesses can invest in people and create lasting impact.”
The partnership highlights a shared passion for sport, community development, and a belief in the power of rugby to connect people and provide opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach.
