Newcastle Rugby Limited appoints new Commercial Manager
Following almost 4 years as the club’s Client Services Coordinator Helen will now assume responsibility for leading our commercial function overseeing all hospitality, sponsorship, advertising and partnership sales across Newcastle Falcons.
Semore Kurdi, CEO of Newcastle Rugby Limited said: “Over the last 4 years Helen has demonstrated her ability to develop and lead the commercial team and has added huge value to our team here at Kingston Park.
“In her new role she will continue to shape the match-day hospitality experience, as well as continue to build strong relationships with our partners. We’re delighted to see her progress with us and look forward to seeing her flourish in her new position.”
Prior to her role at Kingston Park Helen studied Tourism Management at university giving her a good grounding on how to build an attractive offering for those both in the North East and those outside of the region.
Commenting on her appointment Helen said: “We’ve seen a huge uptake in our offering at Kingston Park since the start of the Falcons’ season and there remains a massive opportunity for us to continue to develop, especially with Newcastle Thunder about to embark on their first full time season.
“As our team continues to grow, we’re actively looking for new ways to reach and engage with our audiences and ultimately preserve elite rugby in the North of England. It’s an exciting time to be part of the team here and I’m looking forward to seeing where this new role takes me.”
