Following their successful February camps, the Falcons Community Foundation are pleased to announce details of their Easter coaching camps and Barnard Castle residential camp.
Last week saw the Falcons Community Foundation deliver specialised rugby training to over 250 junior rugby fans across the region as part of their February half term coaching camps.
These camps were a great success, with many of the participants continuing their rugby fun on Friday night as they turned up to help Bring the Noise during the Falcons’ game against Wasps.
The next set of Community Foundation Coaching camps will take place during the Easter holidays at a number of locations throughout the region.
Running from 10am – 3pm each day and open to players aged between six and 16, each participant will receive:

These events offer a fantastic experience for young rugby hopefuls and are a great way to keep youngsters active during the holidays.

Once again this summer the Falcons Community Foundation will be running their popular residential camp at Barnard Castle School.
Taking place from 3rd to 7th August 2015, the residential camp is available for booking now, although the cut off for earlybird pricing is this Sunday.
Set in the stunning location of Barnard Castle School, the five day residential course gives aspiring rugby stars from Under 13 to Under 18 the chance to test their skills in a competitive and professional environment.
Participants will enjoy over five hours of rugby coaching per day from the Falcons Community and Yorkshire Carnegie Coaches accompanied by specific skills sessions, visits from Newcastle Falcons players and coaching staff.
The camp is run in conjunction with Yorkshire Carnegie and the lucky participants will also benefit from coaching staff and academy scouts from the Yorkshire set up attending camp. Providing three meals per day as well as supper, the price also includes evening activities for the players to wind down after a long day of rugby coaching; usual offerings include dodgeball, five-a-side football, cricket, swimming (numbers and conditions apply) and touch rugby.
